Intertrade (continuation of Abouseif Co.) has been a pioneer in the field of Direct To Consumer marketing ever since it was established in 1982 by Halim AbouSeif.
We are proud to be the first agency to introduce the roadshow concept in Egypt back in the 90’s, as well as executing some of the biggest promotional activities over the years.
Aside from being experts in program entailing, our company has always been recognized in partnering/lobbying with third party governmental entities and implementing government promotional activities nationwide.
Under the same management, Intertrade has two sister companies, PROMOTIONS and SMACC that help diversifying the scope of services to accommodate our clients needs either on the traditional or the digital arena.
About the owner
Mr. Halim Abou Seif is an entrepreneur, with over thirty five years of experience in marketing, promotions, public relations and communication consultancy.
As the owner and managing director of Intertrade and Promotions Co. specialized in Below the line marketing services and merchandising projects nationally across Egypt, Mr. Halim has handled hundreds of BTL activities and promotions serving international and local clients such as Procter and Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Nestle, Pepsi-Cola, Jeep, Edita, Bonjorno and a lot more. He has been recognized in the Egyptian market as the most experienced in conducting Road shows where he executed hundreds of roadshows, reaching all types of people in urban cities and rural villages.
Mr. Halim is a certified Public Relations trainer accredited by Chartered Institute of Public Relations in London (CIPR) and also a part-time teacher of Public Relations at the American University in Cairo and Misr International University (MIU) since 2001.
He has been formerly appointed as a communication consultant to the Government of Egypt, serving the Prime Minister’s office as a media training expert, message developer, reputation management consultant, issue and crisis management counselor
